Spring Dinner at the Farm

Table was set with white linen, rattan placemats and natural burlap runner.  Pots of herbs, lettuce and flowers set between candles ran the length of the table.  Love these green glass water goblets!

Dinner was buffet style served in kitchen next to this display of veggies, flowers and bread.  I couldn't resist the dwarf citrus tree to round out the look.

Rusted tin containers filled with herbs, hydrangea, succulents ranunculus.

More Mothers Day Luncheon...

Mothers Day Lunch

The theme was soft and pink.  Her grandmothers antique Limoges china from Austria was a starting point.   But there was not enough luncheon plates for all, so we  went hunting  for items to compliment the existing set.  Shopping was  so much, colored glass, antique plates, depression glass containers, pink pashminas all for this special lunch.

Each guest took home a soft pink pashmina as a gift to celebrate the day

Working With A Whale!!!

Mocha Dick, by Tristin Lowe, West Collection Oaks, Pa
Inflated, White Wool, constructed in Fabric Workshop, Philadelphia, PA

Mocha Dick was a real albino whale hunted by many in the 1800's.  He was the inspiration for the novel Moby Dick.

Sealed Antique slate roof tiles serve as foundation for clam shell filled with succulents, airplants.  Could not resist placing real barnicles next to shell to celebrate the ones found on Mocha Dick.
The Wooden Spoon Cafe, catering with Julie Zlogar used extra shells and airplants for trays. I thinks the airplants may be her favorite.

Coral display for bar.  Easy, simple, elegant
